OUTFIT // Leather, tweed & burgundy

Pictures Michael
Last Sunday the weather was perfect... even though it was cold it was a sunny day! Me and my boyfriend enjoyed it with a long walk. We also came accross this playground with a cable car. I always loved the cable cars at playgrounds when I was a child. So we ended up having a little fun and acting like childs.

You remember my new in post with a pair of leather trousers and a burgundy beanie? Well, these items arrived last week and I couldn't wait to wear both. So that's what I did obviously ;). Since we walked a lot I grabbed my Converse Allstars. These are comfy and I think they look great with leather trousers. On top I'm wearing my favorite oversized tweed coat, which I'm still in love with after owning it for like a year.

INSPIRATION // Purple sunglasses

Even in the autumn/winter you always find a pair of sunglasses in my bag. Because personally I can't look in the bright sunlight for a long time... and if I do I get a headache. Sounds familiar? But what are the trends for this autumn/winter 2012 when it comes to sunglasses? You've seen the cosmic sunglasses trend here. The second trend that I will be talking about is purple.

Purple is near enough officially the color of the season as decreed by the catwalks of Gucci, Prada & Christopher Kane which were quite literally purple themselves not to mention the clothes. Head to toe purple looks from Dior, Emporio Armani, Tommy Hilfiger and Versus have also made a very impressive case for the color. It's a challenge not to fall for fall's new color; a head to toe purple look or just in the details... so why not consider this color calling an opportunity to colourise your eyewear? Sunglasses Shop has the perfect purple frames.
The Versace with its cat eye frame and a two tone trim. This cat eye from the brand gives you a good dose of high violet that really nails the tone. The two tones colored frame creates a stunning appearance with a modern and trendy edge. Or the Paul Smith Ox... classic with a twist. This hand made beautifully shaped and easy to wear cat eye comes in electric purple.
Popular sunglasses brand Ray-Ban comes with two feminine frames. First of all the Ray-Ban CATS, a fun quirky and effortlessly flattering frame in deep purple flecked with glitter. And this trendy little Ray-Ban 4164 with a cute oval shape that gives your look some real retro character. It just so happens they both look very pretty in purple.

OUTFIT // Casual chic

Good morning sweeties! How are you spending your Sunday morning? Me and my boyfriend just enjoyed our breakfast. And now I'm sitting behind my laptop with a hot cup of tea. Brrr... it's freezing outside... but the sun is shining so it's a perfect day to enjoy it later. This is what I was wearing when it wasn't as cold as it is today. A casual chic outfit as I like to call it. Wearing my favorite red boucle jacket and patent loafers. I like to roll up my jeans while wearing these loafers. And finished the look with my silver buckle belt, silver rings and my sunnies.

OUTFIT // Leather & green

Yesterday I wasn't feeling that well, had a headache that wouldn't go away. Luckily for me we still had these pictures that where taken on Tuesday. Love wearing my black leather skirt, because it looks good with almost everything. This time I combined the skirt with my green army jacket. Underneath that just a simple black oversized tee. To finish the look I grabbed my Alexander Wang zebra sunnies. I do like how the leather skirt and army jacket look together. Chic but still with a little toughness!

A little bit later than planned but I actually had to work on a super slow computer this morning. But with a cup of cappuccino in my hand and hearing Two Door Cinema Club on the background it's definitely less frustrating!

If you follow me on Instagram (jony_shoutouttoyou) you've already seen a little preview of this outfit. I love wearing my new black coated sweater... the metallic coating makes this sweater a lot more interesting. And underneath that I'm wearing my fishnet tanktop, it's all about details right ;). These comfy oversized grey trousers are one of the items I tend to grab a lot lately. It's one of those trousers that look great with almost everything from my closet.

Did you notice that my hair is a tiny bit different? Besides from the curls though ;)... yes I cut my own hair again and created side bangs.

OUTFIT // Varsity jacket

Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday sweet readers! This morning I cleaned the house while listening to Rebecca & Fiona... I don't like cleaning that much but the minute it's done it feels so great.
On Friday the weather was perfect... I could even sit outside without wearing a jacket. Perfect timing to grab my blue/black mohair ankle strap heels. Because days like these don't come around much more ofter this year. I created this look by wearing this varsity jacket first, which you've seen in my latest new in post. Thought it would be nice to tone down this sporty item by combining it with chic trousers, top and heels. Even though this varsity jacket is sporty it still has a chic edgy touch to it. You can see that the back is shorter than the front. That's one of the main reasons I liked this jacket.
Enjoy your Sunday :)!

ORDERED // Leather, baroque & buckled

Had a perfect morning: drinking a cup of cappucinno while doing some online shopping! Remember I tweeted that I have won an Asos contest? Well, today I did my second order. I couldn't resist clicking home these black leather look trousers. Not only was I on the search for the perfect black leather skirt, which ended not so long ago, but also for a perfect pair of leather trousers. One that's not a legging and one that has pockets. And I think I found a match this morning. I've also ordered these red baroque jeans, which will be a great addition to my boring jeans collection. The third item I clicked home from Asos is this burgundy beanie. Not that I needed another, but one can never have enough beanies right? Last but not least I ordered these black cowboy boots with silver buckles at Zalando... love that these have silver buckles...I don't think they need more explenation ;).

Burgundy beanie - Asos
Black buckle ankle boots - Zalando collection

OUTFIT // Meet the photographer #6

These days it's getting darker and darker soon, which makes it difficult to shoot pictures of my outfit adequately. Especially now my boyfriend (aka photographer) has such little time left due to his internship. But for now here's another 'meet the photographer' post. A pre-fall outfit from my boyfriend wearing a plaid shirt. It's actually an item he wears frequently. Underneath his shirt, he is wearing an v-neck tee from American Apparel. This tee is indestructible, knowing the fact he owns this one for several years. To finish the look, he decided to wear this loose fitted chino from IKKS. Last but not least the Converse shoes that are a nice supplement to bring the right colors together for an urban look.

INSPIRATION // Cosmic sunglasses

Pictures Nooka & Shine By Three
Summer has ended and that doesn't mean you can't still wear sunglasses. Even in the autumn/winter you always find one in my bag. Because personally I can't look in the bright sunlight for a long time... and if I do I get a headache. But what are the trends for autumn/winter 2012 when it comes to sunglasses?

We've all seen the sparkly techno fabrics and luxe sci-fi print sweater from Balenciaga. But I also see the futuristic trend in sunglasses as well. From high shine metallics, cosmic glitter, progressive silhouettes and galactic crystalline jewels. You don't need a date at night to wear the new season shine, this trend is definitely for day time too. And sunglasses are the perfect accessoiry to add a little bit extra to your outfit.
The Miu Miu Noir majestic cat eye sunglasses with its forties inspired shape, metal bridge and temples comes packed with glitter for some glam. The winning combination of its wild vintage flair and that sheer flattery has made it one of my favorite sunglasses out there right now.
Future focused New York based brand Nooka are space age by name and nature. The frames all have a unique shape and give your look a new direction. You can even steal the show at night with the glow in the dark version (on the right).
The Miu Miu 02NS has the perfect amount of glitter that's subtle but not too subtle. Large square lenses for a flattering wear. Angles at the brow and winged temples make for a striking twist to your staple oversize. Victoria Beckham's graphic navigator sunglasses, a deep angular aviator with flattering teardrop lenses and a metallic faceted section in the bridge. A cool futuristic look makes these perfect for autumn/winter.

OUTFIT // Oversized tweed coat

Today's definitely a fall day... all I want to do is drink tea and watch my favorite tv series. But I got a lot of work to do, so those series need to wait a little bit. Yesterday my boyfriend had a day off. Luckily for us the sun was shining. So we ended up enjoying the sun by walking outside and driving around.

Now about my outfit... even though the sun was shining it was still pretty cold. Therefore I threw my oversized tweed coat on top of a basic grey tee (with short sleeves). I'm still so happy that I bought this coat a year ago! At the bottom I'm wearing my dark blue trousers and patent loafers. The combination of patent, tweed, black and dark blue is something I really love.

To finish the look I grabbed my new Alexander Wang sunglasses. I like to switch my sunglasses once in a while and because my collection contain a lot of black ones, these are a perfect pair to add! Love that these are casual yet edgy. I can't wait to wear these Alexander Wang zebra sunglasses with some bright color lipstick. I know we will have so much fun together!

OUTFIT // Leather skirt

As I said in yesterday's 'new in' post here is an outfit with my new black leather look skirt. As you know I've been searching for the perfect leather look skirt for a while now. One that isn't too short, too shiny and too expensive... untill I saw this one with zippers at the front and a dipped hem! Could not have been happier. Combined the leather skirt with one of my favorite oversized sweaters and since it was another day with lots of wind and rain I grabbed one of my boyfriend's beanies again.

How is your weekend so far? Have a great Sunday sweeties!

NEW IN // Leather, chain, zebra & varsity

Welcome to my closet leather, chain, zebra and varisty! I've actually been wanting to buy a leather look skirt for quite some time now. But I didn't found the perfect one, untill I saw this one with zippers on the front and a dipped hem! Another item I clicked home is this black chain bracelet. You may have noticed that I have been wearing my silver chain bracelet a lot lately. Therefore, I thought it was time to add one. And hello new Alexander Wang zebra sunglasses, so happy you are mine now. The perfect sunglasses to switch with my black sunnies now and then. Last but not least, welcome home varsity jacket. One that will look great with jeans or even with skirts.

Have a great weekend sweet readers! Do you have any plans? Ps: an outfit with the leather skirt will be online tomorrow :).
