Me and my boyfriend decided to pay another visit at my favorite thrift store, which was a success visit again... ended up buying two skirts and a sweater. The sweater actually reminded me of one I was craving from Topshop. Of course you will see these items featured in upcoming outfitposts.

Just in time; we took these pictures just before it started to rain! The weather has been awful lately and that kind of reflected on my outfit. Which is not the most colorful outfit you've seen here. But an all black outfit with grey leather lace biker boots. Kind of loving wearing beanie hats lately. This time I borrowed one from my bf. Beanie hats are the perfect accessory for bad weather conditions!

Brrr...the temperature definitely decreased here in The Netherlands. So it was necessary to take these pictures very quickly. We hopped out of our car, walked to our location, took test pictures with my coat still closed and my gloves still on. After our test shot it was time to wear my coat open and take off my warm gloves! About twenty something pictures later we were done. This is one disadvantage about being a blogger in The Netherlands, but you don't hear me complain; it's all worth it!

Since it was raining a lot today it was necessarily to take pictures underneath a bridge. Besides the rain, the wind almost blew my hat away. Definitely not the best conditions to take outfit pictures. Gladly the result is not that bad.

Wearing this cute burgundy heart printed dress from Dahlia today. It appears that the dress itself is cute, I wanted to toughen it up. So I decided to combine the dress with my black biker jacket and hat.

A cute heart printed dress, these tough worker Palladium boots, the Céline look a like bag and my Moroccan notebook are all a new in! Here is my very first outfitpost of 2012. In the last week of 2011 I had another successful shopping trip at a thrift store. The score? I bought 5 items in total. For example this a-line tweeded skirt, turtleneck sweater and dark green knitted scarf. While walking in that store I already created an outfit with these items in my mind. Couldn't wait to wear the combination and share it here.

Looking at these outfit pictures we shot in 2011 made me realize that this year has been a great one! One of the things I've dreamed of in 2010 was working in the fashion industry. Now I'm working for LifeStylePress, a fashion and lifestyle PR agency in Amsterdam! Then I also got the opportunity to collaborate with Maruti. Groceries shopping and enjoying the sunny but cold weather with my boyfriend yesterday. Suitable day to wear my new shoes, jeans, Céline look-a-like bag and thrifted blouse; perfect items for a casual Saturday outfit.

These shoes are the perfect look-a-like Topshop Ambush boots. Found these beauties on Zalando, a online store with lots and lots of shoes. But they do not only sell shoes, the store offers a wide range of products, from high heels to jeans!

Speaking of jeans; found this beautiful Acne Kex jeans on Farfetch, they offer a great selection of designer jeans. What makes it even more great is that I found this Acne Kex jeans at the sale section, YAY! Love the dark blue coating and the color of the button. Think my jeans collection is now complete. Maybe I will share my favorite jeans on my blog later. Are you interested in seeing these?

While our boyfriends where playing a game of tennis, me and my blogger friend Joyce were on a vintage shopping spree. Added a sweater, coat and blouse to my closet, very happy with these items. After a successful vintage shop date we decided to take pictures of our outfits. We found a pretty cool location with a huge pile of sand. During our shoot I even stepped in the mud. My new MiH 'The Breathless' jeans arrived today! As impatient as I was, I had to try the jeans on immediately. So me, my boyfriend and my new jeans went to the city. After walking in these jeans all day I have falling in love with it's color (perfect color blue) and the super comfortable fit. Definitely a great addition to my dark blue, black and grey jeans!

Combined the jeans with my new sweater which I've actually bought at a local thrift store. You've already seen a little preview of the sweater in my diary post. Paired it with a grey knitted scarf and my comfy yet beautiful boots from IKKS.

Thanks to SimplyPR I had the opportunity to test this Nikon Coolpix S6200 camera. If you ask me, a perfect camera to use in addition to a SLR camera! Thought it would be a great way to start showing you what's happening in my life. Would you like to see these diary posts more often?

My outfit today is all about combining these lovely colors together. The dark purple pants go so well together with my pink blazer from Romwe. Love the shape of the blazer which makes it not a regular blazer but one with more edge. I thought it would be nice to combine these 'sweet' colors (pinks and purple) with the color grey. These IKKS booties are beautiful and easy to walk on, perfect addition to my closet.

Two men start a lingeriestore! Wait a sec, I know what you are thinking right now. Is this for real? How can two men start their own lingeriestore without any knowledge? Well, you are not the only one, because I thought the exact same after receiving an e-mail from oBooi!.

Eric and Rob started thinking of a lingeriestore after reading an article saying 76% of the Dutch women still wear the wrong size. It's true that they didn't had any knowledge of lingerie in the beginning. They listened to the experience of more than 1000 women while shopping for lingerie.

This resulted in opening their first fitting store at 'de Kleine Berg' in Eindhoven. Even a selection of women had influence about the store interior. Which resulted in large fitting rooms with a door and curtain combined together. The main reason is that you feel comfortable fitting underwear without worrying about the curtain etc. This is definitely something that I'm thrilled about! The collection of oBooi! includes the following brands: Cosabella, Femilet, Lou, Pleasure Stata, etc. Most of these brands weren't available in The Netherlands before oBooi! started their business.

I had the opportunity to visit the store in Eindhoven. So I went to Eindhoven without having any expectations. Now, I'm so happy that I did visit oBooi!. Spending time chatting, drinking tea and fitting the items for almost 2 hours... I had a good time over there! Definitely gave me the feeling I was home and not shopping for lingerie. The friendly Caroline helped me finding the bra that fits and looked beautiful; the Cosabella push-up bra. Cosabella is an Italian brand with colorful underwear. Funny fact is that the ladies from Sex in the City swear by this brand, I'm not the only fan! ;)

A great side note: receive a 25 euro oBooi! voucher which you can spend online or in the fitting store, all you have to do is subscribing to their newsletter. I already did and received the voucher in the mail this week.

Last Wednesday I visited the new Levi's Curve ID pop-up store. Remember this post about the Levi's Curve ID fitting session in the Hague? Now, Levi's opened a Curve ID pop-up store in Amsterdam which is located at Kalverstraat 101.

The employee of Levi's measured me and I needed the same fit as last time (Bold Curve). Since I wanted a black skinny jeans for a while now I decided to take one home. My opinion about the jeans still stay the same. The jeans fit so perfect around the waist without gapping in the back, which to me is so important!

If you are curious about the system you should definitely visit the pop-up store in Amsterdam. You can visit the store at Kalverstraat 101 until October 2.

The Kids in Italia series begins with two short films, which document these game changing artists at work. One of these artists is Lele Saveri an Italian photographer. This film follows him as he explores and shoots traditional Sicilian festivals for his forthcoming book. You can see the film with Lele Saveri above. The River Island Xmas show took place at the rooftop in Amsterdam at the Oona PR agency. We were able to see the skyline of Amsterdam which was gorgeous! My favorite piece from the collection was the dark green midi skirt (picture 5).

EVENT // Palladium 'Tokyo Rising'

Remember this post of Palladium? For their newest exploration Palladium teamed up with the great artist Pharrell Williams. Last week I was invited for the premiere screening of Tokyo Rising and I was really impressed by this 30 minutes documentary so I needed to share it.

Pharrell explores the city's hidden treasures, interview locals and uncovers an inspiring resiliency in the aftermath of the events of 3/11. “I find great inspiration in Tokyo from the people,” said Pharrell Williams. “To me, the way that the Japanese people regard life and culture is completely unmatched. Tokyo is my second home and I jumped at the chance to come back and reconnect with friends during the exploration.”

Especially the shop 'Garter' is amazing, which is a shop for rare and unique clothing and items. Garter is definitely a hotspot of Tokyo. Check out other parts of the video here.

First outfit post from Berlin. The last three pictures where shot at the Holocaust Memorial, a memorial in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust designed by architect Peter Eisenman. It consists of a 19.000 square metres site covered with 2.711 blocks. The blocks are designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole sculpture aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason.

The final show of Amsterdam International Fashion Week was the Club Brillant presents Fool's Gold by Dennis Diem show.

Club Brillant offers upcoming Dutch fashion talent a stage to show their collection to a large audience. This time Dennis Diem showed his wonderful Fool's Gold collection with sunglasses from the Italia Independent brand.

The show started with male models covered in black make-up wearing neon sunglasses. Then the female models came on stage wearing spectacular dresses and ski-high shoes (with NO heel). I thought it was a spectacular show and my favorite one from this edition of Amsterdam International Fashion Week.

This dress from I.Code by IKKS is the perfect black dress for me. The metal rings gives the dress just that little edge that I love. That day I had trouble finding an outfit which needed to be suitable for two occasions (work and a event). And this was my outfit for the opening of Topshop shop in shop in SPRMRKT. Because I was working all day I needed to create an outfit that was great for both occasions. This clutch of Velle Purse is an item I've wanted for a while now. Wanted to have an medium leather clutch in a beautiful color and I think this one is the perfect catch. I wanted to let you know Angeline from Velle Purse is currently working on new items so the shop is closed for now. Once her shop is open I will let you know. Another item I'm loving is this amethyst purple quartz necklace created with a bullet from My Salvation. This necklace is the item I needed to add that little edge to my outfit!

Last Thursday I went to the opening of the Topshop shop in shop at SPRMRKT. Great music, drinks, food and fine clothes; for me a successful evening! These camel ankle boots from Le Ballon are the perfect boots for a day working or walking all day. Pictures of the Levi's Curve ID fitting session organised by Unlimited PR in the Hague. Before visiting the shop I was a bit skeptical about this revolutionary system of Levi's. I wanted to see if the system actually works for me. There are three different fits 'Slight Curve, Demi Curve and Bold Curve'. The employee of Levi's measured my waist, bum and hips to determine which fit I needed, which was actually a Bold Curve. After trying the Bold Curve in the right size (one size smaller than I usually wear) and I looked in the mirror I was really surprised. The jeans fit so well and there is no waist gapping in the back, perfect!

Definitely my favorite jeans of the moment because after one day of wearing it don't even stretch out! How great is that? You already saw me wearing the jeans here. But I thought it would be nice to share the pictures with you of the fitting session.

Last Tuesday I visited the Press Only showroom in Amsterdam to see the new collections of the brands they represent. BB Dakota was definitely my favorite of them all. See the black trench coat with leather detail, amazing huh? Besides this brand Geox really surprised me with their new collection. My opinion about this brand has really changed because they really responded to the latest trends.

Because I did not want to bring my big ass camera with me due to a party at night, I decided to take a compact camera with me and capture the new collections on film.

For their latest urban exploration named "Hidden Gems of L.A.", Palladium teamed up with actress Odette Annable (Cloverfield, You again). In this short film Odette takes us on a tour of some out of the way places in her hometown. Exploring her hometown in the new Palladium's LITE boots, which are the perfect boot for summer. I can definitely see myself wearing these boots exploring one of the many cities/countries I want to visit. The final O'Neill girl will have a photo shoot on a secret beach location in September 2011 to be the star in the Spring/Summer 2012 campaign.

Unlimited PR invited me for an exclusive bloggers event which took place last Thursday. It was such a well organised event with great activities and therefore I want to thank Unlimited PR.

First of all senior make-up artist Elke Willemen showed us the latest M.A.C. trends.

Creating a look with clothes from Pepe Jeans was really fun to do. Picked this green dress and which I thought was beautiful. Thought it looked great with my blazer, leopard scarf worn as a belt, feather earring and claw necklace. What do you think of my result?

What's not a better location to take outfit pictures than at the Loonse and Drunense dunes? Well, I think it's perfect! These pictures where taken a week ago. It was a perfect day, I had a day off from work and the sun was shining. I couldn't wish for more. Felt a little bit like a spring day so I picked an old grey jeans and cropped it. Great combined with my beaded jacket which I bought a while ago but have not showed it here before. These two handcrafted rings from Nurit Design are definitely my two favorite golden rings.

Last Friday I attended the Björn Borg International Underwear show & afterparty. Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. performed live while models walked on the runway. Boy George as a special guest even came to perform the song Somebody to love me. Loved watching the collection while listening to great music. Since then I'm playing the song Bang Bang Bang over and over again. The show wasn't just underwear but a great experience. Like a girl with a bottle of shampoo or a tennis racket and a guy with a suit and a big mohawk.

After the show there was also an afterparty with The Glimmers, Gelazer and Victor Coral. Great music, free drinks and great people are ingredients for a awesome evening.

Yes I'm so happy! That's because I received these Jeffrey Campbell pixie wedges from Shopbop. Let me tell you more about my outfit. First of all I am obsessed with this red/burgundy sweater I recently bought in a thrift store. Because of the possible combinations; think about red combined with camel, red with denim and red with black such as I am wearing in this outfit. Another one of my favorite pieces of the moment is this black coat, which was actually a Christmas present of my boyfriend.

Yes, I'm back! I wanted to apologize to you, my sweet readers for not updating my blog. Due to my new job I could not take any outfit pictures. But, I'm back and hope to update my blog weekly! Thanks for the support and all the sweet comments on my previous posts, you guys are the best.

You probably noticed some new changes regarding to my blog. First of all I wanted to have a new blog name. Which will be www.shout-outtoyou.com instead of www.adreamworldwherefashionexist.blogspot.com. I'm still working on my domain name because something went wrong. These six stackable rings from Bita Pourtavoosi are definitely contributing to my current jewelry collection. Every now and then I love to switch from wearing silver to golden jewelry and vice versa. Remember my 2 euro blouse of my last post? Well this camel leather shorts is also one of my latest vintage finds. Once I saw this one I knew I had to buy it! I mean look at the color isn't it great for upcoming fall/winter?

Yesterday I went to the opening party of Netherlands first Monki store in Amsterdam (Kalverstraat 176). The interior looks amazing; I can assure you the minute you walk into the store you immediately feel happy!

Cupcakes, macaroons, drinks, music and fellow bloggers which all includes an amazing evening. It was definitely a big blogger meeting and I had the change to meet; Cindy, Roos-Anne, Debbie, Merve, Robine, Ilanka, Stacey and Natascha! It was so nice the meet you girls and thanks for the good times :) Hope to see you soon!
